Available in both truck and trailer configurations, the 6160 seamlessly combines Herd-Boss’s reliability with advanced mixing technology to meet the diverse needs of modern farming operations.

Trailer Configuration:
Features include direct reel drive with Nylatron® bearings, splined auger drive shafts, HD 10 bolt hubs, and a drop side for easier loading. The bottom augers have ¾” flights supported by ½ or ¾” tubes. The mixer drive sports maintenance-free idlers, a Diamond® roller chain, an oil bath enclosure, and shear bolt protection, all on a trailer capable of hauling loads up to 30 lbs/ft³.

Trailer Configuration:
Customization options include a slide tray or auger discharge for varied feeding requirements, knives for processing bulky ingredients, and stainless steel liners for longevity. Digi-Star or Avery Weigh-Tronix scale systems enhance ration accuracy, with additional options for slide tray magnets and scale remotes for convenience.
